Life

Life is a constant struggle, a battle. Hoping to find my place in the world, I created this blog as a way to make a name for myself.

Sports

As an athletic athlete, I actively participate in two sports, cross country and baseball. This current year in cross country, I made the varsity team, and as a sophmore, am number five on the team. It currently is a bitter-sweet relationship becuase dominating JV is quite fun, but running with the best runners in the whole school is fun as well. I am competing with one other sophmore for the three and four spot, but I have only beat him in one race. The course we run on, our home course, has two nasty hills. Despite this difficulty, I managed to beat my personal record for the 5k by over a minute. Cross county appears to many people as a crazy sport, and in a way, it is. But it is a fun sport, and is very good for a healty life.

The second sport I play is baseball. I have been playing baseball for almost all my life. My dad threw balloons to me when I was four, and I played Little Leauge when I was six. I never got into club baseball, as many of my friends did, but I did practice often with my dad. Going into high school last year, I was a little worried about not making the freshman team. I played summer ball with the JV squad, and in the fall, participated in winter ball. When the spring came around, I was perhaps overlly confident I was going to make the team. I did make the team, and became on of the better pitchers on the team. After the season was over, I stopped playing baseball and focused on running. But winter ball is starting up, and I am one again confident I will make the team in the spring.
